On 14th April, spring was evident everywhere, making a radiant and enchanting spring scene. Anqing Foreign Language School’s Primary Department implemented the ‘Elegant Teenagers Seeking Fragrance along the River’ campaign as scheduled, which was one of the practical activities in the 2017 ‘Happy Reading Month’ program initiated by Anqing Foreign Language School’s Primary Division.
As the old saying goes, the most beautiful landscape has been always on the road, which indicates that the thickest book is centered on nature and life. On the one hand, students enjoyed the sightseeing during this informative event. On the other hand, each class autonomously carried out various kinds of activities such as reading exchange, martial arts demonstration, children ’s song singing as well as funny games, which fully displayed the aim of the event interpreted as ‘leading students to read nature, soak in the elegant books and feel the beauty of the hometown’.
Meanwhile, in the just finished first-round Model Test in Grade 9 around Anqing City, Anqing Foreign Language School’s student Wen Han had the honor to win the first prize in Anqing City with the excellent total score of 711 points, the full mark being 750. Moreover, eight students had the total points above 700. They are Wen Han, Chen Hui, Wang Zijun, Leng Jun(the east campus), Ye Miaotong, Cao Lerong(the east campus), He Zehua and Ye Zicong. Their average per capita total score topped the list in Anqing City.
